The CTS-27-EVS second operation turret lathe is a clone of the Hardinge DSM59 that is normally supplied with the turret tailstock and a double tool cross slide. The spindle is powered by an American made vector drive that is installed and tuned in our shop. Spindle speeds are set electronically and shown in an LED display. The vector drive replaces the old vari-disk system, giving smoother operation and almost zero maintenance. |
